Eugene Demax to replace Vincent Allen for the rest of the season
Mace Enterprises has all of its cars inside the Top 10 in points with only 8 races to go in 2015. Wait... Not all of them... The #24 car is the only one who is not apart of that duo. Ashley (4th), Nick (6th), and Jordan (8th) in the points standings then you have Vincent Allen (28th) in points. Vincent has not had the season he has wanted to have this season, only 1 top 10, Nick Mace the owner of the team hired on Eugene Demax to run full time for the #24 Chevy in 2016 but also was scheduled to race the #24 car this season for 3 races to help get the team back in line.
Eugene ended up putting the #24 car on the pole for the first time this season and brought it home to a Top 5 finish at South Boston. With Demax on board with the team at South Boston, it was the first time this season in 28 races that all 4 of the Mace Enterprises cars finished inside the Top 10 together in one race. Nick (2nd), Ashley (3rd), Eugene (4th), and Jordan (7th) all of which finished on the lead lap (only 8 finished on the lead lap).
With the amazing performance on Demax's return, Nick made a daring call to release Allen from the team completely and end his contract early. Nick said, "I didn't wanna have to cut him loose but after Demax showing how capable the 24 really is, we needed to cut Vincent to help improve us. Eugene has always been amazing behind the wheel. Surprised he was still as great as he use to be but its a call that was needed to be made."
