Racers Digest: Drivers Possibly To Retire In 2016
I decided to voice my opinions on drivers who could retire from the SCS depending on their 2016 seasons. So here is the article I've written from the standpoint of Racers Digest:
"So, us over here at Racers Digest have been holding a survey over the past month. The survey was about drivers to possibly retire after the 2016 Sony Cup Series season. After the winners were decided we had to write a bunch of crap about what would happen after they retired but let's delve right into the results.
#1 = Richerd Johnson
The most amount of votes were given to the best driver in Sony Cup Series history, he currently drives the #20 Home Depot for Johnson Inc. His name is Richerd Johnson. He has had a successful career, winning a championship and 23 races as of 09/10/15. As of lately his performance has gone downhill faster than Justin Bieber's reputation. He recently hired Kyle Collins as his 2015 crew chief and Johnson Freeman as his 2016 crew chief so that may boost his performance a little. For 2016 he is gonna be on Mace Enterprises, but if he doesn't have a half decent season should he consider retiring? What will happen after he retires? Well, SCS will most likely retire the #20 number because it just won't be the same having somebody else racing it. His legacy will be carried on by his son Ricky Johnson who'll be parttime racing in 2016 with his possible future signature number and team. Richerd could also be Ricky's crew chief, although he may choose his friend Kyle Collins to crew chief. His spot on Mace Enterprises could possibly be given up to the 2 drivers above which are close with Richerd. (Ricky = Son, Kyle = Friend)
#2 = Noah Hart
This guy is one of the most notable racers under the SCS banner. Being the CEO of legendary team Fuel Brothers Racing. But his career he's been under the shadow of his brother and current teammate Jacob Hart. Winning very few races and doing kind of poorly as of lately has his racing time come to an end? What will happen when he retires? Well, he doesn't really have anybody to carry on his legacy in this sport. His spot on Fuel Brothers could be given to Nick Pericles or Kyle Collins. Pericles because FBR has supported his career over the past season and have been trying to help him back to the top after some controversial decisions. Collins because he raced with them after a 1 season break (his second season altogether) and he almost won a championship.
#3 = Kyle Collins
Wait.. What? Didn't he just return? Well, Kyle Collins spent half a year hiding for ARCSOA HuskyTools funding. He suffered some life changing injuries but is back racing in 2016. What if he is no longer any good? What if he races like a pile of shit? Well that would most likely mean his time in racing has come. Although he is really young he may be forced into retirement anyways, his legacy could be carried on by Rick Shultz who came out of nowhere but got chose by MER to replace Collins. Collins would either be replaced by Ariana Kearney or Rick Shultz"
Was this well written? Anybody support or think my ideas/opinions are good? Not trying to force anybody into retirement, I just think these would be the guys to retirement if anything. Although I hope all 3 can get one last win if retiring is what will happen to them, I hope Collins does good because I don't want him to retire at a young age.
Also, I hope McBlair doesn't mind that I am using Racers Digest!

I liked the read... As for my driver Noah Hart it's funny that you mentioned me... I had thoughts of it mid way through the season because I haven't had any luck in the series and with me and Jacob supposedly getting the same equipment and him doing way better am I really fit to even race? Only winning 2 races... Would of won the S16 Title with no wins if we didn't have a chase but besides that my career have basically been almost has poor as Michael Waltrip. However, I have signed my driver on for 2016 and if we don't start to pick up the pace for the rest of the season or next year it could be a possibility.

Also Tbh, I was actually Considering Retirement since I unanimously became the most hated driver in the SCS because of a wreck that I didn't even cause.

I think you'll do just fine in the SUMS #14 Car for next season, it will be a Toyota with FBR Motors. So the performance under the hood will be much better than whatever Mercedes is doing over seas.

Oh it's a Toyota? HELL YEAAAH!

^ Because his driver was fatally Injured and he came back from operations? Because he didn't win championships or anything? I just feel like your targeting him for no reason. It's rude and annoying, just stop this.

Re: Racers Digest: Drivers Possibly To Retire In 2016
Can we please not play the offend drivers for no reason game? I'd like it better if there was no arguments over Collins' posts. He can write about what he wants to write about, and let's leave it at that.LukeMartin6 wrote:Why do you mention yourself in every situation Kyle Collins? Kinda self-centered. Kinda like when you made that thread awhile ago about the SCS Hall of Fame and you thinking you deserved to be in it.
But I mean, I liked the read. He had good reasons to have Collins in all the sections. He is good friends with Richerd, being his crew chief and all so it would make sense for him to get that ride. Noah basically gave him his big break in FBR so it would kinda make sense for him to go there. And the last section was about Collins so that is pretty self-explanatory.
