Another Driver Announces Retirement After 2015...
2 weeks ago Ashley Mace who is 2nd in the points standings announced she will be stepping out of the race car entirely after 2015. Another driver announcing retirement right after the Arkansas race is Jeffery Lynn. A 3-time winner of the series has not had a win since Season 6 at Fonda. That was 13 Seasons ago since Jeffery had past visited victory lane. This season was the first time Jeffery had led a lap in the series since Season 6 when he had won. Jeffery's luck has seem to finally come around for him. He won the 2015 DAYTONA 500 Pole and led the first lap of the DAYTONA 500. Jeffery has raced 11 races out of 22 so far this season, he has raced in 4 different race cars out of them 11 events (#45 Allen Family Racing, #4 Monster Energy Racing, #78 HorizonGroup, #76 HorizonGroup). Out of all them races Jeffery has led 8 laps all this season however only has 1 top 10 coming at Homestead replacing Sean Perkins.
Jeffery has an offer with HorizonGroup for 2016 to race full-time to run for the championship but Jeffery says he has other racing opportunities out there besides the SCS he wants to adventure and that he has done his time in the SCS that all he can do now is finish off his SCS career and try and bring his unsponsored #76 car to victory lane for one last time... Jeffery still has his head high that maybe just maybe, he can prove to the SCS drivers that he can still win in this series. Jeffery has always been very driven. Winning one last race before moving on to other racing series is his goal.
